Thanks to a gift from alumnus George Singleton and his wife, Jackie, the Extended Reality Suite will provide opportunities for cross collaboration between different majors and colleges while providing the latest gear for projects.

The major is provided through the newly established School of Arts and Sciences and will open new opportunities in Beckley for students interested in learning how the fundamentals of chemistry can be used to help law enforcement solve crimes.

Haley Cothern  

Haley Cothern says she didn’t discover a career in public health, the profession found her. Now, the two-time School of Public Health graduate has been appointed as an administrative fellow at WVU Medicine, setting her on a path to affect health care across West Virginia and the region.
