To assist School of Nursing students with the transition into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, the SOAR program aims to cultivate a sense of belonging while building resiliency, self compassion and stress reduction skills.

Jason R. Falvey, a clinician-scientist who specializes in physical therapy, will present at noon Friday (Sept. 8) in the Health Science Center, Room 1905. His research focuses on identifying and addressing disparities in outcomes among elderly patients recovering from traumatic injuries and illnesses.
Beth Lefevre has joined the Office of Student Services as an advisor for the School of Nursing to help pre-nursing students create a successful and personal academic path.

The museum is seeking stories and objects for “Getting Through: Healthcare Worker Resilience in the Age of COVID,” a year-long exhibit highlighting the experiences and resilience of West Virginia’s health care workers.
A recent $1 million enhancement to the Dan Watts Endowment for Pharmacological Research and Education, established by Dr. Thomas R. Poole, will further student research and education in the Department of Physiology, Pharmacology and Toxicology.
