The opening of the exhibit, which was born of COVID-19, but reframes the approach of gathering the stories of health care well beyond the pandemic, will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Sept. 25 in the Okey Patteson Auditorium and the Health Sciences Center Pylons Commons.

The new single-port robotic surgical system allows surgeons to insert robot-assisted instruments into the extraperitoneal space — a small, compartmentalized space within the pelvis and back — using only one or two incisions and avoiding the abdominal cavity completely.
