A team from Connellsville High School, located in southwestern Pennsylvania, is the winner of the 35th annual Pumpkin Drop, hosted by the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources.
West Virginia University issued a WVU Alert on Saturday (Oct. 26) for a chemical leak that was reported before 9 a.m. at the Agricultural Sciences Building, located on the Evansdale area of campus. After investigation of the initial report, no chemical issue was found.
