As part of annual Global Youth Service Day Saturday (April 13), WVU students, staff, and faculty will pack thousands of meals that will be distributed throughout Monongalia County in partnership with the Family Resource Network of the United Way. The event will be held at the Rec Center from 8 - 10:30 a.m.

The Department of Biology Spring Ephemeral Wildflower Walks are Sundays in April (April 7, 14, 21, and 28) at 2 p.m. These free, guided tours are a spring tradition and participants will learn the names of the flowers and some interesting facts about them. Last year, in the course of three wildflower walks, more than 45 species of plants were seen in bloom.
