Registration is open now for Supervisor Solutions Topic III - Leading Teams, Transforming Culture, which will be held from 8:15 a.m. to noon Thursday, (April 18) in the Rhododendron Room, Mountainlair.
The West Virginia University Symphony Orchestra will make its first appearance at Lewisburg’s historic Carnegie Hall Wednesday (April 17). WVUSO is comprised of WVU students studying a variety of majors in the university’s 14 colleges and schools.
In a weekend of commencement events May 9-12, West Virginia University’s nearly 4,600 graduates will hear from a host of speakers whose pasts have earned them a Pulitzer Prize, an Emmy, a spot as a cyber-security top cop — and one whose career has begun before she leaves middle school.
The Office of Sustainability invites all faculty, staff and students to bring personally owned electronics to Area 11 parking lot near Stansbury Hall April 23 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Acceptable electronics include computers, laptops, printers, toner and ink jet cartridges, cell phones, cable/wire, etc.
The event will take place Wednesday (April 17) and is sponsored by the National Communication Association and the department of communication studies. A reception will begin at 5 p.m. in the Mountainlair's Vandalia Lounge followed by the formal program at 6 p.m. in the Shenandoah Room.
