The last of the Department of Biology spring ephemeral wildflower walks will happen Sunday (April 28) at 2 p.m. These free, guided tours are a spring tradition at the Core Arboretum. Participants will learn the names of the flowers and some interesting facts about them.
Campus Conversations will be held today (April 25) at 10 a.m. in Salon A of the Erickson Alumni Center and tomorrow (April 26) at 1 p.m. in the Gold Ballroom of the Mountainlair. The session on Friday, April 26, also will be available to watch live at webcast.wvu.edu so all WVU campuses may participate. Supervisors are encouraged to allow their staff to attend or view the discussion as long as their operational needs permit.
In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the WVU Council for Women's Concerns will host a happy hour and silent auction fundraiser for the WV FRIS Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner training program tonight (April 25) at Table 9 from 5-8:30 p.m. All proceeds from a signature cocktail and mocktail will benefit the cause.
