The Reed School of Media and Communications will hold a free digital security and safety workshop for local and regional news organizations, independent and citizen journalists, and other at-risk practitioners in the arts, communications, education and civil society organizations. The workshop will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Media Innovation Center.

The WVU rifle team will play host to the 2028 NCAA Rifle Championships. The Mountaineers hosted in 2019 and 2024, making the third time in program history that the championships were hosted by the University.
Senior Peyton Hall (165) and sophomore Ty Watters (149) have been selected to represent the WVU wrestling program at the 2024 NWCA All-Star Classic in State College, Pennsylvania, on Nov. 16.
