The Office of Graduate Education and Life invites faculty and staff to the annual Graduate Student Welcome Back Picnic at the Mountainlair Plaza Aug. 23 from 3- 5 p.m. for food, music, games and opportunities to meet new and returning WVU graduate students.
Topics include retirement eligibility guidelines, retiree health insurance options, eligibility to use sick leave/or faculty service credits, income options available, retirement savings plans available and Medicare enrollment requirements.
Pull up a chair at West Virginia’s Statewide Farm to Table Dinner Oct. 3 from 5:30 - 9 p.m. at the Erickson Alumni Center, and celebrate agriculture in the Mountain State with your friends and family.
An array of Welcome Week activities designed to foster lifelong passion and purpose await an estimated 5,600 new students from around the world making their way to Morgantown this week to embark on a new journey at West Virginia University.
Structured sessions will be offered 9 a.m.-noon on Monday, Aug. 19 and on Thursday, Aug. 22 in the fifth-floor computer lab (Room 5104) at One Waterfront Place. Parking validation will be provided.
