WVU Rifle team  

The rifle team ranks No. 1 in the first regular-season poll from the College Rifle Coaches Association.

WVU Volleyball team  

The volleyball team welcomes Big 12 foe Oklahoma to the WVU Coliseum today (Oct. 13) in a 6 p.m. ET tilt. The first 500 fans through the gate will receive a free rally towel. Additionally, the first 125 maniacs will receive a free WVU water bottle along with free pizza prior to first serve. In honor of Homecoming, the Mountaineers also will recognize several former student-athletes throughout the match.

West Virginia University will tip off the 2017-18 men's basketball season with the Gold-Blue Debut presented by Coca-Cola on Friday, Oct. 27, at 7:30 p.m., at the WVU Coliseum. Admission to the event is free with gates opening at 6:30 p.m. All fans will receive a 2017-18 men's basketball poster.

Pack Fiesta Bowl stadium  

The West Virginia University Varsity Club has announced that the 2007 Mountaineer Football team, one of the greatest teams ever to wear the Old Gold and Blue, will be recognized for its 10-year anniversary the weekend of Oct. 27-28, with activities surrounding the football game with Oklahoma State.

WVU baseball player in PNC Park  

For the second consecutive season, the West Virginia University baseball team will play at PNC Park. The Mountaineers will face Penn State on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. The matchup comes after WVU and PSU faced off in the first-ever collegiate game at the Major League ballpark last season, a 4-2 West Virginia win.
