To celebrate the United States 250th anniversary and ensure broad representation of West Virginia leaders in medicine, the William A. Neal Museum of the Health Sciences is seeking ideas for its 2026-27 exhibit. Submissions are due before Jan. 30.

Visvanathan Ramamurthy, professor and chair of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine and vice chair of research in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the WVU School of Medicine, is leading this multidisciplinary study alongside a group of scientists and clinicians at WVU to restore vision in people who develop a form of inherited blindness.

Designed to enhance research and data management skills for both new and experienced researchers, the workshops will kick off Tuesday (Jan. 27) with a focus on using Zotero to manage citations.
