A partnership between WVU and two major U.S. food corporations — Kroger Mid-Atlantic and Kraft Heinz — will supply The Rack: Student Food Pantry, allowing students to have affordable and nutritious meals. In the effort to upgrade and support the relocation of the pantry, announced Wednesday (Feb. 17), Kroger contributed more than $50,000 in cash and equipment while Kraft Heinz donated more than $10,000 in cash, food items and coolers.

WVU Online’s new Maymester will offer students an opportunity to earn up to five credits by taking accelerated online classes. The new three-week accelerated learning option will run from May 10-28, allowing students to earn additional credits between spring and summer. Registration will begin March 16.

West Virginia University will move to remote instruction on the Morgantown campus online until 11:30 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 18) due to inclement weather and road conditions. Classes already offered online and those in hybrid form will also continue as planned. Students on clinical rotations should check in with their program directors for additional guidance. The remainder of the University, including dining, buses and COVID-19 testing and vaccination clinics, will operate on a normal schedule.
