The Humanities Center and Libraries continue the Local to Global film Series with Harlan County, USA at 7 p.m. Feb. 5 in the Gluck Theatre.
Duke it out with other teams March 26 from 6-8:30 p.m. in the first 3-on-3 Water Basketball Tournament event at the Student Recreation Center.
The Research Office and the Libraries Research Commons continue their partnership with “Software Carpentry – Intermediate Python Workshop,” a one-day, hands-on workshop that covers introductions to the python packages pandas (databases), seaborn (plotting), and scipy (statistics), on Feb 8.
Registration is now open for all WVU colleges, units and groups to participate in WVU’s third annual Demo Day, April 24. This day-long showcase demonstrates the scope of innovative ideas, leading-edge inventions, working prototypes and unique business ventures across the WVU system.
WVU’s first Fresh Check Day will be a fun event with interactive booths, free food, and awesome prizes. Students can come to the Student Recreation Center from 3-6 p.m. Feb. 6 to learn more about mental health on campus, warning signs and what to do if a friend is exhibiting signs of suicide or a mental health concern.
