Marco Greenberg, the author of “Primitive: Tapping the Primal Drive That Powers the World’s Most Successful People,” (published by Hachette, April, 2020) will join President Gordon Gee today (May 27) for an exclusive Zoom conversation geared toward alumni and students navigating through the job market during the COVID-19 pandemic. Faculty and staff are also welcome to participate.
Members of minority communities, disproportionately affected by the virus to date, are especially encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. Testing will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday (May 22) at the Big Lots parking lot in Westover, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday (May 23) at the WVU Coliseum parking lot and at Mountainview Elementary.
Join WVU Marketing Communications for another Integrate Online Zoom event, "Communicating and Fundraising in the Midst of Physical Distancing," at noon May 26.
The WVU Center for Applied Coaching and Sport Sciences will host the final Town Hall ZOOM meeting, titled Returning to Play in WV, Thursday (May 21) from 3-4 p.m. The discussion will bring together a panel of sports science, sport and exercise psychology, coaching science and medical experts to discuss what best practices in return to play might look like this summer and fall.
Dr. Neal Newfield, in conjunction with the Carruth Center, will continue to offer his Zoom, Mountaineer Meditators’ group every Friday from noon to 1:30 p.m. through the summer. This is a drop-in group, so you can attend one meeting or every meeting.
