Events
Encourage students to design the next Gold Rush t-shirt to benefit the WVU United Way Campaign. If selected, their design could be worn by hundreds of fans this football season.
In partnership with the WVU Office of the Provost and in support of the University’s interest in offering additional health and wellness programming for faculty and staff, the four-week program will be offered virtually starting in May exclusively for WVU faculty and staff. The program will focus on nutrition education, cooking demonstrations, healthy recipes and physical activity.
WVU will resume administration of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine based on the recent recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration. WVU will host a vaccine clinic on Friday, May 7 from 1-4 p.m. at the Student Rec Center in the upper gym. Anyone interested in receiving a Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer or Moderna vaccine may walk-in on a first-come, first-served basis. Both first and second doses will be offered for Pfizer and Moderna.
Donations will be accepted in all residence halls starting today (May 3) for WVU’s annual Blue and Gold Mine Sale. The sale is a long-time partnership of WVU and the United Way to provide a second life to donated goods in a yard-sale like event while raising money for the local United Way.
Peter Butler, Morgan Haas and Ryan Blair will speak to the WVU retired faculty and staff on “Community Engagement — the Fulcrum Project at WVU” Wednesday (May 5) at 2:30 p.m.
