Sarah Burke-Spolaor, WVU astrophysicist, will speak to the WVU retired faculty and staff at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2. The presentation titled “The Brilliance of Gravity” will be followed by a Q&A session.

vaccination vaccine clinic  

West Virginia University will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic Wednesday, June 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the upper gym of the Student Recreation Center. WVU students, faculty and staff as well as members of the community who are interested in receiving a Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer or Moderna vaccine may walk in to the clinic during operating hours.

The WVU Retiree Association will join the American Red Cross to hold a blood drive June 16 from 11:30 a.m to 5 p.m. in the Nutting Gallery of the WVU Erickson Alumni Center.
