Hearts of Gold, a nonprofit organization that partners with WVU to train service dogs, is seeking community foster care homes for its dogs-in-training. The organization will host a virtual informational meeting on Saturday (July 24) at 5 p.m.

WVU families with children are invited to join the Mountaineer KidZone teachers to share stories, play games and make a craft, along with other activities, during a virtual family-fun camping trip on July 26 from 6-7 p.m.

To help give new life to campus trees — both historic and non-historic — that have been removed for safety reasons, the Office of Sustainability, the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design and the WVU Tree Campus USA committee are partnering to host West Virginia University’s inaugural lumber sale July 30 from 2-6 p.m. and July 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the event tent outside the Creative Arts Center, 1 Fine Arts Dr., Morgantown.
From July 18 to 22, educators in West Virginia and neighboring counties who teach math, business and civics will visit Morgantown for this immersive professional development conference organized by the John Chambers College of Business and Economics’ Center for Financial Literacy and Education, directed by Amy Pridemore.
