The TEDxWVU “If Not Us, Who?” event will feature six dynamic speakers who will discuss a variety of topics encouraging visionary conversations and the spread of new ideas on Sept. 25 at 9 a.m. in the Canady Creative Arts Center Gladys Davis Theater.

James J. Nolan, Department of Sociology & Anthropology, will speak virtually Wednesday (Aug. 4) at 2:30 p.m. on “Police Reform,” followed by a Q&A session. This program is co-sponsored by the WVU Committee of Retired Faculty and OLLI, Morgantown and all members of the community are welcome to attend.
WVU units that plan to hire student workers or Federal Work-Study students are encouraged to participate in the Back-to-School Job Fairs, a new addition to Welcome Week. The Fairs will be held Monday (Aug. 16) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Gold Ballroom of the Mountainlair and Tuesday (Aug. 17) from noon to 3 p.m. at the Student Recreation Center.
