The University continues to partner with the Monongalia County Health Department to hold vaccination clinics on the Morgantown Campus. Two clinics are planned Thursday (Sept. 9).

Faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend “Speed Meet” as part of an effort to support the RISE WVU community. Meet our advocates, mentors and students at this speed-dating style networking event on Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. in the Mountaineer Room of the Mountainlair.
Faculty, staff and students are invited to join the WVU Center for Community Engagement for a weekend of service at the Freedom Festival at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in Glen Jean Sept. 10-12. Lodging, food and t-shirts will be provided for volunteers.
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to stop by the Student Rec. Center from 3-5 p.m. on Friday (Sept. 10) for a free body composition assessment.
New and seasoned faculty and staff are welcome to join the Annual New Women’s Welcome Meet-Up Sept. 9 from 5-7 p.m. Held virtually this year, participants will gather in a large group or in smaller breakout room chats to meet the newest members of the WVU family and catch up with old friends and colleagues.
This year’s anniversary on campus will include an opening ceremony with President Gee at 11:30 a.m. on Friday (Sept. 10), followed by a 24-hour vigil near Wise Library. Events also include activities tied to the National Day of Service and Remembrance, organized by the WVU Center for Community Engagement, and the “September 11, 2001: The Day That Changed the World” exhibition, hosted by the WVU Libraries.
