All faculty and graduate teaching assistants are invited to celebrate the close of the academic year with sessions May 9 designed to enhance your teaching, showcase instructional innovations and promote networking with peers.

The College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences hosted its 6th Annual Student Research Day, highlighting game changing projects, assessing fitness levels, use of imagery in treating injuries, growing brand equity in pro sports and more.

Parents and 9th graders from the community are invited to participate in the research project, the Emotion Regulation in Parents and Adolescents Study. This project explores how teens and their parents define and pursue happiness, how their attitudes relate to other parts of their lives, and how parents’ attitudes and behaviors relate to their children’s.

A student from the Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources was one of 60 students selected nationally by the Council on Undergraduate Research to showcase their work on Capitol Hill during the annual Posters on the Hill session, held April 17-18. Morgan Menke, an electrical engineering major from Ridgeley, was the sole student from West Virginia selected for the competitive event.
