The School of Music invites music lovers of all ages and skill levels to register for its programs to learn new instruments, connect with other musicians and improve skills. Most programs begin the first week of February.

A collaborative exhibition by artists Karin Broker and Patricia Bellan-Gillen, “Screams and Whispers” will invite visitors to look beyond the surface of each piece into deeper worlds and meanings beginning Friday (Jan. 24) in the Bright Gallery.
The community is invited to join the WVU Game Developers Club and IGDA West Virginia to playtest physical and digital games created by developers from the Morgantown area, including students majoring in game design and interactive media, from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 26) at the Media Innovation Center.
Fifty students majoring in dance, along with faculty and guest artists, will perform dances from various styles at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 30 and 31, and at 2 p.m. Feb. 1 in the Canady Creative Arts Center, Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre.
The WVU community is invited to tour the Center’s new location and meet its staff while enjoying refreshments and participating in fun activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 28 in Field Hall, Room 3217.
Similar to physical First Aid and CPR, Mental Health First Aid teaches individuals how to assist others experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis until professional assistance is available or the crisis is resolved.
