Briane Keith Turley  

The U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board named Briane Keith Turley, an adjunct professor in the Department of History and director of the Appalachian Hungarian Heritage Project, as the recipient of the Fulbright Specialist Program award.

African American Hospitals Exhibit  

“African American Hospitals in West Virginia, 1900-1960,” a temporary exhibit that examines pre-desegregation health care for African Americans in the state, is now open at the William A. Neal Museum of the Health Sciences.

Conference on Disabilities  

Individuals with disabilities, caregivers and family members, researchers, professionals and students are invited to submit proposals for short courses, workshops and poster sessions related to the theme “Bridging the Gap” through April 1.

Rifle  

The No. 1-ranked rifle team defeated No. 3 Kentucky Saturday (Feb. 8) at the UK Rifle Range in Lexington, Kentucky, to secure its second consecutive Great America Rifle Conference title. WVU finished the conference slate with a perfect 5-0 record.
