Anne McFarland, WVU assistant professor and Art Therapy Program coordinator, will speak to the WVU retired faculty and staff Wednesday (April 6) at 2:30 p.m. This virtual program titled “Healing Through Art: Art Therapy Basics, Personal Experiences, and WVU Programming” will be followed by a Q&A session.

The WVU community is invited to attend the 6th annual Undergraduate Spring Symposium in person Saturday (April 9) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as 160 student presenters cover a broad range of disciplines, including the arts, humanities, business, education, social and behavioral sciences, health sciences and STEM fields.

It takes a community.” WVU Peer Advocates’ annual It's On Us Spring Week of Action to raise public awareness about sexual assault and to educate campus communities and individuals is April 4-8.
Due to increased demand as a result of U.S. Food and Drug Administration authorization of a second booster dose of either the Pfizer or the Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for older people and certain immunocompromised individuals, WVU and the Monongalia County Health Department are extending hours of the two planned community COVID-19 vaccine clinics in April.
This discussion, sponsored by the WVU Council for Gender Equity and led by experts in the field, is open to all and will cover topics around sexual assault nurse examiner training and support services April 7 at 7 p.m.
WVU community members are invited to participate in interview sessions with candidates for the founding dean of the new College of Applied Human Sciences. Five finalists will be on campus during the first two weeks of April. During these interviews, each candidate will give a presentation to share their vision for the College, as well as their research and leadership style.
