electric vehicle safety training  

With more hybrid and electric vehicles on the roads, WVU is helping first responders more easily train for emergencies involving such cars, trucks and SUVs. WVU Extension Fire Service and the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium at WVU have teamed up to produce “Electric Vehicle Safety: An Awareness Level Training,” a new, free online safety instructional course.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at WVU is seeking volunteer instructors and presenters for its fall 2022 term, which runs Oct. 2 through Dec. 3. Designed for older adults, OLLI offers short, non-credit classes without grading or testing in a variety of subjects.

Curious Incident Play  

Dr. Krestin Radonovich, director of child neuropsychology at the WVU Medicine Children’s Neurodevelopmental Center, is the autism consultant for West Virginia Public Theatre’s presentation of “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.” Show dates are Thursday, June 9, through Sunday, June 12, at the Canady Creative Arts Center’s Gladys G. Davis Theatre.
