All new faculty members are invited to join the Office of the Provost for an overview of Digital Measures and the usage of the system from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday. Faculty may attend in person at 101 NRCEE on the Evansdale Campus or online via Zoom.

FallFest, WVU’s welcome-back-to-campus concert, returns Tuesday for the first time since 2019. The concert begins at 5:45 p.m. at the Evansdale Rec Fields adjacent to the Student Rec Center. FallFest is free and open to students. A valid WVU student ID is required for admittance. The University’s clear bag policy is in effect for this event. This year’s performers are Polo G, Dustin Lynch, Dirty Heads and Tay Money.
The WVU community is invited to attend a Nature Connection Series talk at the WVU Core Arboretum’s woodland amphitheater at 6 p.m. Tuesday. This week's speaker is Madison Ball, conservation program director at Friends of the Cheat, and her talk is titled “Eastern Hellbender Environmental-DNA Monitoring in the Cheat River Watershed.”
The WVU Women’s Resource Center is excited to host the event series: “Peer Learning Communities for New Colleagues” for new (0-3 years) faculty and staff. This program offers a space for newer members of the Mountaineer family to build relationships, network and quickly integrate into the fabric of WVU so that we all may perform at our best.
The Brand and Trademark Licensing Office invites all departments and student organizations to attend the annual Brand and Trademark Licensing Fair from 12:30-4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, in the Mountainlair Ballrooms. All invited vendors are licensed to produce WVU-branded products.
Teaching faculty who are new to using eCampus (Blackboard) are encouraged to register for a virtual training session with Information Technology Services offered Aug. 15-18. Sessions will be held on Zoom and registration is required.
