Faculty, instructors and academic leaders are invited to join the Office of the Provost for an interactive session to learn more about the advanced usage of Digital Measures with a view toward the promotion and tenure process. The workshop will be held 1-3 p.m. Monday (Aug. 22) in the Mountainlair’s Shenandoah Room or online via Zoom.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at WVU will host instrument petting zoos in preparation for the return of the Mon River New Horizons Band this fall. A member of the New Horizons International Music Association, the band offers older adults opportunities to learn to play musical instruments and explore the joy of making music.
Two new aquatic fitness classes will be offered this fall at the Student Rec Center. Morning Movement will be held Mondays and Wednesdays at 8 a.m. and HIIT the Deck Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
WVU will celebrate pioneering work in organic farming during its Organic Field Day from 3-7 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 27) at the Organic Research, Education and Outreach Center. Organic Field Day helps illustrate the latest research in organic production methods through workshops, tours of research plots and hands-on activities.
