The Health Sciences Library will host an opening reception for “Health Sciences Professionals Create!”, an exhibit of arts and crafts by Health Sciences students, staff and faculty, Feb. 26 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Health Sciences Center Pylons.
Dr. Gregory Schaefer has received a Presidential Citation from the Society of Critical Care Medicine for his outstanding contributions to the organization.
In conjunction with Heart Failure Awareness Week, Feb. 9-15, heart physicians all across the country, including those at the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute, are informing patients, their families, and individuals at risk about the severity of heart failure and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.
