2018 schedule - Men's soccer.  

Director of Athletics Shane Lyons has announced the 2018 men's soccer schedule, which features nine home matches. The 2018 schedule includes 18 regular-season matches, with nine at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. The Mountaineers also have two home exhibition matches on the schedule.

A student from the Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources was one of 60 students selected nationally by the Council on Undergraduate Research to showcase their work on Capitol Hill during the annual Posters on the Hill session, held April 17-18. Morgan Menke, an electrical engineering major from Ridgeley, was the sole student from West Virginia selected for the competitive event.

There are going to be a lot of new quarterbacks in the Big 12 this year. Baker Mayfield is gone at Oklahoma. Mason Rudolph is no longer at Oklahoma State, nor is Kenny Hill at TCU. Nik Shimonek's eligibility has expired at Texas Tech. But here at West Virginia, that's not the case with Will Grier returning for his senior season. That alone should automatically put the Mountaineers in the catbird's seat.

Freshman Mark Goetz shot one-over par in the cold, wet conditions of the final round to help the West Virginia University golf team post its best-ever finish at the 2018 Big 12 Men's Golf Championship at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Wednesday.

The Ceramics Studio in the School of Art & Design will host its Annual Spring Ceramics Sale at the Creative Arts Center, Friday and Saturday (April 27-28). The sale will be held in the Douglas O. Blaney Lobby at the front entrance of the CAC. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
