Eberly Family Professor for Outstanding Public Service and faculty member in the Department of Public Service Chris Plein will play at the Concerts in the Loft series Sunday (Feb. 10) at the Wesley United Methodist Church on the Downtown campus. Plein is a very talented singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. A former member of Morgantown’s own Second Cousin and Almost Blue bands, he plays originals and covers in the Americana folk and rock tradition. His music has been heard on Radio Free Nashville and West Virginia Public Radio’s Sidetracks program. His latest CD is Solstice. He will be joined by local musicians including Mary Angel Blount, Rachael Fetty and Mark Poole.
