Toyota tech check  

Shawn Ball of L&S Toyota and representatives from the WVU system visited with high school principals, counselors and students today on the WVU Tech and Woodrow Wilson High School campuses. President Gee welcomed the principals and counselors at an awards luncheon with Shawn and Angela Ball of L&S Toyota. Gee thanked the Ball family for their vision and leadership. "Shawn and Angela were the first to step up for us here in Beckley and we are so grateful for their commitment and support," Gee said.

The Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources will host hundreds of teams of elementary, middle and high school students from across the state and region for the 32nd annual Pumpkin Drop tomorrow (Oct. 25) from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The nomination process for the 2020 West Virginia Business Hall of Fame is open until Nov. 30. Sponsored annually by the West Virginia University John Chambers College of Business and Economics, the Business Hall of Fame kicks off the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Business Summit at The Greenbrier to honor and recognize those with strong West Virginia ties who have made a significant impact on the business landscape.
