Biomedical Research Awareness Day will take place today (April 11) in the Pylons Lobby from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. BRAD is a day devoted to honoring the role of animals in biomedical research and discussing the importance of animals in medical advancements.

The Big 12 Conference has named 19 West Virginia University student-athletes to the 2019 Academic All-Big 12 At-Large Team. The team recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at Conference institutions who participate in sports outside of Big 12 competition, including rifle and men's soccer.

WVU celebrates Earth Day each year with a series of events. Various departments host opportunities to personally minimize impacts on the planet, to learn what WVU is doing to be a steward of environmental resources and to recognize the beauty of our surroundings.

Join us for a conversation with Holocaust survivor and graphic novel author Miriam Katin titled "And Then We Draw: Translating Trauma into Art." The evening is free and open to the public, and appropriate for all. The event will take place today (April 10) in G21 Ming Hsieh Hall from 5:30 - 7 p.m.
