The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute will hold a building dedication to celebrate the launch of its Innovation Center (May 15) and an Inaugural Summit (May 16–17).
The WVCTSI Females Advancing Clinical and Translational Science group is hosting a special speaker to present a discussion and workshop on academic success Thursday, (April 25) in room 301 of the WVU Health Sciences Center Erma Byrd Biomedical Research Building. Dr. Jeanette South-Paul, Dr. Andrew W. Mathieson, UPMC professor and chair of family medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, will present, “Hidden Codes for Academic Success.” This session will begin with a keynote address from noon to 1 p.m., followed by a workshop from 1:30 - 2:50 p.m.
The School held its annual Scholarship and Award ceremony last Friday in the Okey Patteson Auditorium. Students, donors faculty and guests gathered in the Pylons for a reception prior to the ceremony. One hundred twenty-seven students earned scholarships and awards this year totaling $162,800.
