Sophomore Morgan Phillips chose West Virginia University to study sport and exercise psychology while wanting to compete with the highly successful Mountaineer Rifle team.
Nicholas McCardle, a senior health informatics and information management major, was recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the West Virginia chapter of the Health Information Management and Systems Society.
The WVU Cancer Institute will host a Spring Cancer Screening from 8 a.m. to noon May 18 at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center. The event will offer free screenings for breast, oral, and skin cancer; low-cost screenings for lung and cervical cancer; and lab testing, including blood, urine, and metabolic panels.
