Commuter Students 2025  

In celebration of Commuter and Nontraditional Student Appreciation Week, Commuter Student Programs encourages faculty and staff to nominate a deserving commuter or nontraditional student to win one year of free parking.

The WVU Shared Services Accounts Receivable team, in partnership with the Modernization Team, has launched a new Central Invoicing Program. To help you get started, the team will host live demonstrations at noon and 4 p.m Wednesday (April 23) on Zoom.

Center for Women's Studies  

The Center for Women’s and Gender Studies invites the WVU community to celebrate the 47th anniversary of women’s and gender studies from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday (April 24) in the Downtown Library, Milano Room.

As Earth Week begins, the University is committing to a comprehensive set of 20-plus sustainability goals, outlining a road map for significant environmental improvements across campus by 2035. The initiatives — spanning categories of waste reduction, land and water protection, and lower emissions — reflect the University’s commitment to a more environmentally friendly future.

A West Virginia University student committed to advocacy, justice and scholarship has been named the University’s 27th Truman Scholar, earning one of the nation’s top graduate fellowships. Sophie Slaughter, a Culloden native, is a member of the Honors College.
