Four College of Law students are working in public defender’s offices around the state this summer. Andrew Cooper, Jordan Dishong, Jennifer Kenel and Graham Platz are Sprouse Fellows.
Matthew Vester (History, Eberly College of Arts & Sciences) recently published "Pandemic Politics During the Renaissance" in History Workshop Online. The essay examines the politics of public health and plague-related restrictions in the 16th-century Alps, noting key similarities between today's challenges and those faced by past populations.
Kashy Aminian, Charles T. Holland professor of petroleum and natural gas engineering in the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, has been awarded the SPE 2020 Regional Service Award.
