Jasir Cox  

West Virginia University football coach Neal Brown has announced that Jasir Cox, a 6-foot-1, 209-pound, fifth-year senior from Kansas City, Missouri, has signed a grant-in-aid and will transfer to WVU from North Dakota State. He will play on the defensive side of the ball.

The West Virginia University baseball team continues its five-game homestand with a Big 12 Conference series against No. 18 Texas, presented by Humana, from May 6-8, at Wagener Field at Monongalia County Ballpark.

Abigail Riggs  

WVU senior swimmer Abigail Riggs, of Morgantown, has been named one of the 2021-22 Reed College of Media's Outstanding Seniors. She serves as the co-president of the WVU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

All Big-12 Honors  

Nineteen members of the WVU track and field team have been named to the 2021 Academic All-Big 12 Track and Field Team with 36 women across the conference who earned the honor with a 4.0 grade point average.

After helping the Mountaineers to a Big 12 series win at Kansas, freshman infielder Grant Hussey of the WVU baseball team has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
