West Virginia University Police will host the semester’s first open P.R.O.T.E.C.T. training on Monday (Sept. 16) for any interested students, faculty, staff and Morgantown community members. The training will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Student Health Building, Room 101, located near the Student Rec Center.
Both faculty and staff who have been at WVU for years or those just joining the Mountaineer family are invited to network and make new connections from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 17) at The Cupcakerie Café & Frosé. The goal is to harness a positive, welcoming community.
The 18th annual Irving Goodman Aging Lecture will be delivered by Adam P. Spira, vice chair for research and faculty in the Department of Mental Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 18) in the Mountaineer Mall and on Zoom.
The webinar will feature Kristi Wood-Turner, director for the Center for Community Engagement, and Tony Michael, program director for WVU Extension Family and Community Development, at noon Sept. 20 on Zoom.

In-person sessions will be held for faculty, staff and students on the Morgantown Campus today (Sept. 12). A virtual session is also scheduled for those across the WVU System.
