WVU wrestling coach Tim Flynn has announced the signing of Brayden Ivy and Brian Finnerty to National Letters of Intent for the upcoming 2022-23 season.

The doubles pair of freshman Camilla Bossi and junior Ting-Pei Chang of the WVU tennis team made their fifth appearance in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association's doubles rankings of the 2022 spring season, as announced on Thursday.

Officials with the historic Hill District and the City of Pittsburgh have announced the renaming of a street for College Football Hall of Fame quarterback Major Harris. A dedication ceremony is planned at the corner of Elmore Street and Bently Drive July 15 at 3 p.m.

Negri Lamb  

Morgantown native Eleanor Negri Lamb, one of the longest-serving employees in WVU athletics history, has died. Lamb worked an amazing 55 years in collegiate athletics during an impressive career that spanned from 1958-2013.

WVU football coach Neal Brown has announced that Wesley McCormick, a 6-foot, 199-pound, fifth-year senior defensive back from Germantown, Maryland, has signed a grant-in-aid and will transfer to WVU from James Madison University. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
