The inaugural Week of Purpose kicks off Sunday (Sept. 18) and continues through Saturday, Sept. 24. A variety of purpose-driven activities are planned throughout the week for the entire campus community, from faculty and staff to students.
A farmers market, sponsored by the Division of Student Life, will be held outside the Mountainlair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today (Sept. 15). Local farmers and vendors will offer a variety of produce and other food items for purchase.
Employees who are planning to retire from WVU should not miss this opportunity to learn about retiree benefits. Topics include retiree health insurance options, eligibility to use sick leave/or faculty service credits, Medicare enrollment requirements and more.
The WVU community is invited to join the WVU LGBTQ+ Center for a free 20-minute guided meditation experience, hosted by the planetarium program "Sunset Meditation," at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, at the WVU Planetarium. Seating is limited.
WVU Career Services will host the Agriculture and Natural Sciences Career and Internship Fair today (Sept. 14) and the STEM Career and Internship Fair Thursday (Sept. 15). Both fairs will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Student Rec Center.
