Throughout October, the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences is hosting a series of lunch-hour discussions on topics related to the 2020 general election. Tomorrow (Oct. 6) Chair of Political Science John Kilwein will discuss recent decisions handed down by the Supreme Court that deal with redistricting and voting and how those may influence the 2020 election and beyond.

WVU Jazz Studio  

The WVU Jazz Studio will perform a small ensembles concert Tuesday (Oct. 6) at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the NAACP.

Halloween with the Horses  

Halloween with the Horses is scheduled for 2–4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the J.W. Ruby Research Farm in Reedsville. This will be a free, drive-thru and touch-free event while still providing a safe, educational experience.

The Zinnstarter competition is an opportunity for college students in the State of West Virginia to pitch their innovative ideas to a panel of judges to win $5,000 in cash prizes that can be put towards their business concept to move their idea forward.
