First-generation faculty and staff are collaborating with FirstGen Initiatives, housed within REACH Student Success, to expand resources and mentorship for first-generation students through a $22,500 grant from the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission.

Ten doctoral students will compete in the Three-Minute Thesis grand finale at 6 p.m. April 7 in the Mountainlair Ballrooms as faculty and staff judges assess finalists on comprehension, engagement and communication to determine first, second and third place winners.
Join REACH Student Success to explore tools that strengthen engagement, build connections and support meaningful learning experiences across programs and student interactions from 8:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday (March 10) in the Mountainlair, Rhododendron Room.
Freshmen and seniors have received an invitation to complete the National Survey of Student Engagement via their MIX email. Faculty and staff are encouraged to remind students to complete the survey.
The WVU community is invited to meet the first two candidates for the next permanent Linda and Don Brodie Dean of the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences. The first candidate will be on the Morgantown Campus Monday (March 2) and the second candidate is scheduled to visit Wednesday (March 4).
