100 Days in Appalachia  

100 Days in Appalachia, a news outlet currently incubated at the College’s Media Innovation Center, was one of 18 organizations nationwide selected to participate in the Poynter Table Stakes Program, which provides seminars, coaching and peer network support to help newsrooms identify what they need to evolve, reach new audiences and better engage their communities.

The WVU School of Public Health Occupational Medicine residency program has been reaccredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, making it one of 23 accredited programs in the nation. WVU’s program is the only one of its kind in the Appalachian region.

Scholarship Recipients 2021  

The Office of Graduate Education and Life has announced the recipients of the 2021 WVU Foundation Scholarship awards. Scholarship review committee members said they were impressed by the high caliber applications received and have selected four recipients for the WVU Foundation Distinguished Doctoral Scholarship and five recipients for the Carl del Signore Foundation Scholarship for master’s students working towards the completion of a thesis.
