OTT Lunch and Learn: What's Needed for a Strong Patent Application?

Technology Transfer logo

Join WVU Office of Technology Transfer for their Lunch and Learn “Introduction to Written Description and Enablement in a Patent Application — What's Needed for a Strong Application” Tuesday, Feb. 9, at noon.

The cornerstone of a patent application is how the invention is described in words and enabled, including both experimental examples and non-experimental elaboration of the invention details. In this webinar, we will discuss best practices and recommendations for the information that it is helpful to include with the invention disclosure and which WVU’s outside counsel will inquire about as they work with you in the preparation of a patent application.

The presentation will be given by Rick Timmer and Girish Ratanpal, senior patent agents, and John Sears, principal and founder of Innovators Legal.
