Research Office launches recruitment website for participants in research studies

The Research Office has launched a centralized website to support recruitment efforts for researchers conducting Institutional Review Board or IRB-approved studies that are actively seeking participants.

This resource is designed to help increase visibility for ongoing research projects and connect researchers with potential participants across the University community and beyond. It is a replacement for the Survey Tuesday mailing previously managed by Strategic Communications and Marketing.

Researchers who are currently recruiting are encouraged to submit their study information for inclusion on the website through this Qualtrics submission form.

To complete the submission, researchers should be prepared to provide details about their study, including the IRB approval number, which is required for all postings. Only studies with active IRB approval and open recruitment status are eligible for inclusion.

If you previously submitted a study announcement to Survey Tuesday through the Students UNEWS weekly emails, you will need to resubmit your study using the new Survey Tuesday website hosted by the WVU Research Office. Previous submissions were not transferred to the new system, so all active studies must be submitted again to be included on the new platform.

The advantage is that you will not have to resubmit your ad weekly as it will run for as long you are seeking participants.
