As a reminder, Wednesday, May 31, is the last day that WVU benefits-eligible faculty and staff can make changes to their University benefit plans during the Open Enrollment period for Plan Year 2024.

The Facilities Management team is working with the University’s steam provider on a planned steam outage for the Downtown Campus. The outage will occur from 6 a.m. Sunday (May 21) through 6 a.m. Sunday, May 28.

University alumna Paula Muscatello’s lifelong battle with Type 1 diabetes offered one blessing in disguise: Her placement in special education classes helped her find her purpose as a teacher. Nearly 17 years after her passing at age 50, Muscatello — a Richwood native — continues to enhance education for students with special needs through a scholarship established in her memory at her alma mater.
