The West Virginia University School of Public Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported observation results for the tenth – and final – week of 'MASCUP!', an ongoing mask observation study.

After notching a first-place finish in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase, Ceili McCabe of the West Virginia University track and field team has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.

COVID-19 testing and vaccination site at the Rec Center  

WVU will resume administration of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine based on the recent recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration. WVU will host a vaccine clinic on Friday, May 7 from 1-4 p.m. at the Student Rec Center in the upper gym. Anyone interested in receiving a Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer or Moderna vaccine may walk-in on a first-come, first-served basis. Both first and second doses will be offered for Pfizer and Moderna.

Donations will be accepted in all residence halls starting today (May 3) for WVU’s annual Blue and Gold Mine Sale. The sale is a long-time partnership of WVU and the United Way to provide a second life to donated goods in a yard-sale like event while raising money for the local United Way.
