In partnership with the WVU Office of the Provost and in support of the University’s interest in offering additional health and wellness programming for faculty and staff, the four-week program will be offered virtually starting in May exclusively for WVU faculty and staff. The program will focus on nutrition education, cooking demonstrations, healthy recipes and physical activity.

To support students who have expressed concern and anxiety this semester about the ongoing challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the WVU Office of the Provost is extending the deadline for students to withdraw from coursework. This option provides students more flexibility in managing their own success in their coursework and academic progression.
The final day to submit applications for the WVU Dependent Education Scholarship for the Fall 2021 academic year is May 1. Students interested in Fall 2021 should apply regardless if awarded the scholarship in past academic terms.
The Morgantown Municipal Airport, in conjunction with Morgantown Police and Fire and other local emergency organizations, will conduct a large-scale Triennial Emergency Exercise on Thursday (April 29) beginning at 11:30 a.m. Access to the airport is prohibited to the public during the exercise.
Gretchen Wilson, founding principal, and Ryan Godderz, principal, will present “Urban Open Space in the West: Revealing Denver’s Hidden Alleys and Hidden Nature” at 5 p.m. on April 29 via Zoom.
Jennifer Bissonnette, interim director of the Nature Lab at Rhode Island School of Design, will present “Regenerative Minds – What combining science, art, design and an eco-centric approach can offer the world” at 4 p.m. on April 30 via Zoom.
