The Appalachian Studies Association will hold its annual meeting at WVU March 17-20, 2022. The conference planning committee seeks volunteers to assist in the planning and implementation of conference activities, including plenary events, field trips and exhibits, among other activities.

Early Literacy Program  

Heeding the call to raise West Virginia’s third grade reading proficiency rate, the West Virginia Public Education Collaborative joined forces with the West Virginia Department of Education, the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation and Marshall University’s June Harless Center to double down on their commitment to improve West Virginia’s literacy levels by the end of third grade.
