Recipients of the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Teacher Awards, Outstanding Researcher Awards and the Award for Outstanding Outreach or Public Service receive a stipend to help further their efforts.

Julie Frum, Kevin Dixon and Robert Phipps were nominated by their peers at the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences and selected based on their demonstration of the University’s core values of service, curiosity, respect, accountability and appreciation.
Each year, students from across the Eberly College are selected as Outstanding Seniors and Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistants. Eberly Scholars are also chosen annually for a monetary award to help offset the cost of their education as they work to achieve their academic goals.

Students at the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources will have access to even greater learning opportunities thanks to the opening of the state-of-the-art IDEMIA National Security Solutions Biometrics Lab, a hub for research, teaching and innovation within the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
Graham Sterling, a graduate student majoring in collaborative piano performance, and Alanna Burden, a senior vocal performance major, will travel to Miami, Florida, for fellowships during the 2025 Miami Beach Classical Music Festival season.
