Allan Johnson, a graduate of the sport management master's program and Parkersburg native, received one of the highest honors in the profession by being inducted into the Legends in the Field Strength and Conditioning Hall of Fame at the CSCCa National Conference in Indianapolis.

More than 75 supporters have contributed $50,000 to establish the Diana Martinelli Resilient Leaders Scholarship. A faculty member for 20 years, Martinelli has served as vice dean and director of the Reed School of Media and Communications since July 2024
